What is Chat GPT Plus?

Is the free version still available?
Yes, Chat GPT remains free to use. You can either use it as a guest or choose the free basic subscription. The paid version helps support free access for many users.

How can you cancel your subscription?
You can cancel your Chat GPT Plus subscription at any time. Here is how:
- Click your profile picture or initials at the top right.
- Select My Plan from the menu.
- Scroll down on the next page and click Manage Subscription.
- In the Stripe payment portal, click Cancel Plan.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. To avoid additional charges, you should cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
Note: If you subscribed via Apple Subscriptions or Google Play, you must cancel directly through those platforms.
Is there a refund policy?
If you live in the EU, United Kingdom, or Turkey, you can request a refund within 14 days of subscribing. Here’s what you need to do:
- Open the Help Center and start a chat using the widget at the bottom right.
- Select the Billing category and then I need a refund.
How do you request a VAT refund?
You can request a VAT refund as follows:
- Open the chat widget in the Help Center.
- Select Billing and then VAT exemption request.
- Provide your billing details (name, email, billing address) for faster processing.
Your account was suspended – will you receive a refund?
If your account is suspended for violating the terms of use, there will be no refund for remaining periods or prepaid services. Any outstanding fees are still due.
How can you disable use of your data for model improvement?
To opt out of having your data used for model improvement, you can fill out this form. You may also delete your account at any time.
Where can you find your invoices for Chat GPT Plus?
You can access your invoices directly in your account:
- Click your profile picture or initials at the top right.
- Select My Plan.
- On the next page, click Manage Subscription to download your invoices.
Note: Invoices are not automatically sent by email.
Are alternative payment options available?
Only payments by credit or debit card are accepted. Prepaid cards and gift cards are not supported.

- GPT-4: 40 messages every 3 hours.
- GPT-4o: 80 messages every 3 hours.
- GPT-4o Mini: No limitations.
Unused messages will expire and are not carried over to the next period.
Is there an annual plan?
Currently, Chat GPT Plus is only billed monthly. There is no option to pay in advance for several months or a year.
