How can you cancel your subscription?
You can cancel your Chat GPT Plus subscription anytime. Here’s how:
- Click on your profile picture or initials at the top right corner.
- Select My Plan from the menu.
- Scroll down on the next page and click on Manage Subscription.
- In the Stripe payment portal, click on Cancel Plan.
The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. To avoid being charged again, please cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
Note: If you subscribed via Apple Subscriptions or Google Play, you will need to cancel directly through those platforms.
Is there a refund policy?
If you are located in the EU, United Kingdom, or Turkey, you can request a refund within 14 days of subscribing. To do so:
- Open the Help Centre and start a chat using the widget in the bottom right corner.
- Select the category Billing, then choose I need a refund.
How can you request a VAT refund?
To request a VAT refund, follow these steps:
- Open the chat widget in the Help Centre.
- Select Billing and then choose VAT exemption request.
- Provide your billing details (name, email, billing address) for faster processing.
Your account was suspended – will you get a refund?
If your account was suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Use, refunds for any remaining time or prepaid services will not be issued. Any outstanding charges remain due.
How can you disable the use of your data for model improvement?
To opt out of data usage for model training, you can fill out this form. You can also request complete account deletion at any time.
Where can you find your Chat GPT Plus invoices?
You can view your invoices directly in your account:
- Click your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.
- Select My Plan.
- On the next page, click Manage Subscription to download your invoices.
Note: Invoices are not automatically emailed.
Are there alternative payment methods?
Only credit and debit card payments are accepted. Prepaid cards and gift cards are not supported.

- GPT-4: 40 messages every 3 hours.
- GPT-4o: 80 messages every 3 hours.
- GPT-4o Mini: No message limits.
Unused messages do not roll over to the next period.
Is there an annual plan?
Currently, Chat GPT Plus is only available on a monthly basis. There is no option to pay in advance for multiple months or a full year.
