What is Chat GPT Pro?

How does unlimited usage of Chat GPT Pro work?

Unlimited usage applies to o1, o1-mini, and GPT-4o, but you must comply with the terms of use. The following uses are prohibited:

  • Automated extraction of data.
  • Sharing or reselling account login details.
  • Using Chat GPT to provide your own services.

Systems prevent misuse and may temporarily restrict access if abuse is suspected. Please contact support if you believe this is a mistake.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Just follow these steps:

  • Click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.
  • Select “Settings” and then “Subscription”.
  • Click “Manage” to go to the Stripe page, and then select “Cancel plan”.

The subscription ends after the current billing period. For subscriptions through Apple or Google Play, cancellation must be done directly through those platforms.

What is the refund policy?

You can request a refund if you live in the EU, United Kingdom, or Turkey and you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. Use the chat widget in the Help Center and select:

  • Billing
  • I need a refund

How can I request a VAT refund?

Submit your request through the chat widget in the Help Center. Choose:

  • Billing
  • VAT exemption request

Provide your billing information (name, email, and address) to speed up processing.

Can I upgrade my Chat GPT Team account to Chat GPT Pro?

A direct upgrade from Chat GPT Team to Pro is not currently possible. However, you can cancel your Team subscription and, once it ends, purchase a Pro subscription.

My account has been suspended. Will I get a refund?

If your account is suspended due to a violation of the terms of use:

  • No refund is provided for unused time or advance payments.
  • No further costs are charged after the suspension.

How can I prevent my data from being used for model improvements?

Disable this option in “Settings”:

  • Go to “Data Controls”.
  • Turn off “Improve the model for everyone”.

New conversations will then no longer be used for training.

Where can I find my invoice for Chat GPT Pro?

You can find your invoices as follows:

  • Click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.
  • Select “Settings” and then “Subscription”.
  • Click “Manage” to go to the Stripe page.

Invoices are only automatically sent by email at the time of your first registration.

What payment options are available?

Payments can only be made by credit or debit card. Prepaid or gift cards are not supported.

Is the OpenAI API included in the Chat GPT Pro subscription?

No, the OpenAI API and Chat GPT Pro are separate services with different pricing. For details on API usage, please check the pricing page.

Is there an annual plan?

Currently, there is no annual plan for Chat GPT Pro. Subscriptions are billed monthly.

Which file formats can I upload with o1?

Currently, o1 only supports image uploads. Other file formats such as PDF, CSV, or Word documents are not supported at this time.

Can o1 generate images?

No, to generate images, please switch to GPT-4o and use DALL-E.
